K Tip Hair Extensions
K-tips, also known as keratin bond extensions, are small individual strands that are fused to your natural hair using a gentle keratin bond—the same protein your hair is made of. They’re lightweight, discreet, and perfect for adding natural-looking length, fullness, or pops of color.

Because each strand is placed individually, K-tips move naturally with your hair and are ideal for clients with fine, fragile, or thinning hair, especially around the front or hairline. They’re comfortable to wear, long-lasting, and blend seamlessly for a soft, natural finish.

Things to Consider
Commitment:
Hair extensions require regular maintenance and care, including follow-up appointments and proper at-home upkeep.
Height:
Choose a length that complements your height and overall look, whether you prefer a dramatic or natural appearance.
Lifestyle:
Select extensions that fit your daily routine, especially if you lead an active lifestyle. Some types may require more maintenance than others.
Financial:
Consider both the initial cost and ongoing expenses for maintenance and products. Ensure the investment fits your budget.
Goals:
Clearly define what you want to achieve—whether it’s length, volume, or color—to help choose the best extensions for your needs.

At Home Care
To maximize the lifespan of your new hair extensions, it is crucial to follow proper aftercare procedures.

Sleeping:
-
Avoid sleeping with your hair down, as this can cause friction, leading to split ends and breakage.
-
Do not sleep with wet hair, as it can result in matting. Instead, loosely bun your hair using a big scrunchie, and consider using a satin pillowcase for its gentle texture.
-
Prior to bedtime, apply oil to the ends of your hair for added nourishment.
Styling & Brushing:
-
Always use a heat protectant before using hot tools or blow dryers on your extensions.
-
Opt for a board bristle brush or paddle brush to gently detangle your hair, starting from mid-length to ends, and gradually working your way up.
-
Avoid applying excessive heat directly on the bonds.Brush daily, especially near the roots, to keep strands separated and prevent tangling.
-
DO NOT shampoo hair for 48 hours after installing, let the bonds fully cured!
Products:
-
Professional hair care products only, as some drugstore options may contain ingredients like parabens and waxes that can build up and degrade the hair quality prematurely.
-
Remember that your extensions are made of 100% human hair, and they have undergone a quality process at the factory. It is essential to maintain them properly to keep them looking their best.
-
By following these at-home care tips, you can ensure the longevity and beauty of your hair extensions.
